About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for accurately counting and tracking inventory within OPW’s warehouse at its Elon assembly facility. This detail-oriented role involves conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory-system records, and coordinating with production and inventory management personnel. The Cycle Counter works independently while managing multiple tasks and follows all safety rules and guidelines. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some flexibility on start and end times. The ability to work overtime as needed is required. The role is monitored by the Inventory Control Analyst and/or Senior Director of Supply Chain. It is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria in the applicable bonus plan.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily.
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Basic PC and software knowledge.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of cycle counter systems and processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Cycle count materials, with work monitored by the Inventory Control Analyst and/or Senior Director of Supply Chain.
Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin-location reports.
Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
Assist in updating systems with accurate information.
Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
