About The Position

The Cycle Counter performs continuous physical inventory counts in a timely manner while standing and walking. The role researches available data to resolve discrepancies, follows inventory control procedures, communicates findings to the appropriate people, and maintains inventory count records and data files. The position also follows management instructions and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds without restriction.
• Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods.
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and potentially holidays, as needed by the customer.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and compare results with system data.
• Research discrepancies between physical counts and system counts.
• Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory.
• Follow cycle counting procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory count records and data files.
• Investigate the origin of discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
