About The Position
The Lead Cycle Counter performs location-based cycle counts to meet count requirements and helps identify root causes of errors in production reporting, transfers, and related inventory transactions. The role also supports physical inventories, production reporters, and shipping and receiving as needed. Additional inventory-control duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Training in inventory, transactions, production reporting, cycle counting, shipping, and receiving.
- Problem-solving skills to identify root causes of problems.
- Forklift capability.
- Some lifting, up to 40 lbs, is required.
Nice To Haves
- 2–3 years of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts by location using ABC classification.
- Assist the PIC Supervisor with physical inventories.
- Assist production reporters in finding root causes of variances.
- Use root cause analysis to identify other transaction errors.
- Back up shipping and receiving as needed.
- Perform other projects related to inventory control as needed.
