About The Position

The Material Coordinator supports multiple engineers and project managers by handling all requisitions for assigned departments and reporting the real-time status of order fulfillment. The role includes preparing and processing shipments, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy, documenting discrepancies, and coordinating inventory, warehousing, and transportation activities to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. The position is based at PROENERGY’s Houston, Texas work location.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and more than 6 months of general work experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a high school education.
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
U.S. work authorization; the company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
Receive, unpack, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
Use shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.
Document damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.
Coordinate inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
Handle requisitions for assigned departments and report the real-time status of order fulfillment.
