About The Position

The Mat Roller processes clean mats for load building and delivery to customers. The role may also involve processing mops, shop towels, Facility Services items, and fender covers. The Mat Roller transfers carts of clean mats to the mat-rolling area, unloads and inspects mats, rolls and sorts them, and loads products into carts, load-building areas, storage, or trucks. The position also involves moving carts and bins, operating a forklift when necessary, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting efficiency and safety standards. Other production tasks may be assigned as needed. The role is performed in the production area of an industrial laundry facility, around machinery and varying temperatures, odors, humidity, lint, and dust. It requires continuous physical activity throughout the shift, including standing, reaching, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, pushing, seeing, hearing, overhead reaching, and stooping, with lifting of up to 60 pounds. Requirements

Recognize colors and sizes, and count and sort accurately.
