About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles perform appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role involves skilled mechanical work and diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning. The technician also performs preventive maintenance, replaces or repairs defective parts, and keeps current with changing automotive technology. The position offers weekly pay with an hourly guarantee, guaranteed hours, and no Sunday work. Qualified applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Compensation is up to $120,000 per year, with benefits available.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional auto service or engine diagnostic experience.
• At least 2 ASE Certifications.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide customers with service of the highest quality.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze and diagnose problems, and complete mechanical automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air conditioning diagnosis.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with changing automotive technology.

• Work both as part of a team and independently.
