About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are functioning appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role applies in-depth automotive repair knowledge and provides high-quality customer service. It includes skilled mechanical work and diagnosing and repairing a range of automotive systems, including drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning. Technicians inspect, replace, or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance. They stay current with changing automotive technology, work both independently and as part of a team, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive service and engine diagnostic experience.
At least 2 ASE certifications.
Must have technician tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze and diagnose problems, and complete automotive repairs involving systems such as drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning.
Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance on automobiles.
Continuously learn technical information and techniques to stay current with changing automotive technology.
