About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced automotive maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles perform appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role involves skilled mechanical work and diagnosing and repairing a broad range of automotive systems. Technicians work in a high-volume environment, provide high-quality customer service, and may work independently or as part of a team. The position offers flat-rate pay, weekly pay, and guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automotive repair services.
• Professional engine and diagnostic experience.
• Expired or current ASE Certifications.
• At least $25,000 in technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge at a Master Technician skill level.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze and diagnose problems, and repair automotive systems including drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to keep up with changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values when interacting with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
