About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles perform properly and customers are taken care of. The role requires in-depth automotive repair knowledge and the skill level of a Master Technician. The technician performs skilled mechanical work and diagnoses and repairs a range of automotive systems, including drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning. Work takes place in a high-volume environment and may be performed independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in automotive repair services.
Professional engine and diagnostic experience.
Expired or current ASE certifications.
At least $25,000 in technician tools.
Ability to commute 45 minutes to the Papillion shop.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge and Master Technician-level skills.
Provide customers with service of the highest quality.
Analyze and diagnose problems and perform mechanical automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air conditioning work.
Inspect, replace, and repair defective parts while performing preventive maintenance on automobiles.
Continuously learn technical information and techniques to keep current with changing automotive technology.
