About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced car maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are performing appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role involves skilled mechanical work, diagnosing and repairing a range of automotive systems, and providing high-quality service. Technicians are expected to keep up with changing automotive technology, work both independently and as part of a team, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
• At least 2 ASE Certifications.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide customers with service of the highest quality.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze and diagnose problems, and complete automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air conditioning diagnosis.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts while performing preventive maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
• Work as part of a team and independently.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
