About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are operating appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role requires in-depth automotive repair knowledge and skilled mechanical work, including diagnosing and repairing drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air-conditioning systems. Technicians provide high-quality customer service, keep current with changing automotive technology, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards. The position requires working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
• At least 2 ASE Certifications.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide customers with service of the highest quality.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze and diagnose problems, and complete mechanical automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air-conditioning diagnosis.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to keep abreast of changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values when interacting with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
