About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Technician performs advanced automotive maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles perform appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role applies in-depth automotive repair knowledge and provides high-quality customer service. It involves skilled mechanical work, diagnosis and repair across areas including drivetrain, electrical, brakes, and air conditioning, as well as preventative maintenance. The technician must stay current with changing automotive technology, work independently and as part of a team, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
• At least 2 ASE certifications.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyzing and diagnosing problems and carrying out automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air conditioning diagnosis.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to keep current with changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values when interacting with customers, coworkers, managers, and suppliers.
• Work both as part of a team and independently.
