About The Position

The Massage Therapist provides professional, personalized massage and body treatments to create an exceptional, restorative, comfortable, and relaxing spa experience for each guest. Duties must be performed in accordance with Sunseeker Resorts, state, departmental, and property policies, practices, and procedures. The position is available for on-call special events and/or routinely scheduled shifts.

Requirements

At least 500 hours of training from an accredited massage school.
Current Florida, NCBTMB, or MBLEx massage licensure.
Two to five years of hands-on experience.
Two to four years of experience in a luxury resort, day spa, or hotel environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
Candidates must undergo a criminal background check; newly hired employees’ work eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with a luxurious, safe, and relaxing spa experience aligned with Sunseeker’s service standards.
Perform massage and body treatment techniques offered on the spa menu, tailoring services to individual guest needs and preferences.
Maintain knowledge of massage modalities, techniques, and trends, and incorporate best practices into treatments.
Escort guests to treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and spa facilities while ensuring their comfort and privacy.
Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and ready, and ensure equipment and supplies meet hygiene and safety requirements.
Promptly report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to Spa Management.
Complete services within the allotted time while maintaining professionalism and exceptional guest care.
Assist with laundry and restocking supplies, and maintain an inviting spa environment.
Follow resort and departmental grooming, safety, and sanitation standards.
Attend required training, meetings, and continuing education sessions to maintain licensure and enhance skills.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
