About The Position

Hotel Wildemont, Autograph Collection, is a luxury boutique hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama, featuring the Poseidon Spa and a range of guest experiences. The Massage Therapist joins the spa team to provide guests with exceptional massage and body-treatment services and deliver a high level of guest service. The role uses spa equipment and products to perform treatments, maintain guest comfort and safety, and keep the workstation or treatment room clean and secured throughout and at the end of each shift.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in the field.
Ability to perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone.
Training, certification, and licensing required by the applicable state or country.
Professional appearance and confidence.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
Strong time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Perform various types of massages and body treatments for guests.
Demonstrate a high level of guest service at all times.
Check in with guests frequently to promote comfort, safety, and security during services.
Suggest retail offerings when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and/or treatment room throughout the shift.
Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
