About The Position
The Marlin Bar Host/Hostess helps bring the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home. The role involves knowing food and beverage menus and applying Hospitality Standards, particularly telephone etiquette and greeting guests. The Host/Hostess keeps host-stand supplies stocked and organized, monitors and replenishes restroom supplies, and maintains restroom cleanliness. The position contributes to a team environment focused on sales and service success and helps create a clean, safe, professional, and upbeat setting. Scheduled shifts are determined by business needs.
Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Stand routinely for the duration of a shift.
- Safely maneuver equipment and tools including a hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, and wine keys.
- Work scheduled shifts determined by business needs.
