About The Position

The Marlin Bar Bartender brings the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home. The role requires complete knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, as well as knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Bartenders verify guests’ government-issued identification when alcohol is ordered, as required by law, and maintain appropriate stock levels of perishables and spirits through inventory control and ordering based on projected business. The position also helps create a clean, safe, professional, and upbeat environment. Shifts are scheduled according to business needs.

Requirements

Frequently lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
Stand routinely for the duration of a shift.
Safely maneuver equipment and tools such as a hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, and wine keys.
Work scheduled shifts determined by business needs.
