Marlin Bar Bartender
About The Position
The Marlin Bar Bartender brings Tommy Bahama’s island spirit to life by making guests feel at home. The role requires complete knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, as well as knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Bartenders verify guests’ government-issued identification when alcohol is ordered, as required by law, and maintain appropriate inventory and stock levels of perishables and spirits based on projected business. They help maintain a clean, safe, professional, and upbeat environment. Shifts are scheduled according to business needs.
Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Stand routinely for the duration of the shift.
- Safely maneuver equipment and tools including hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, and wine keys.

- Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Verify proper government-issued identification when guests order alcohol, as required by state and federal law.
- Maintain stock levels, inventory control, and ordering for perishables and spirits according to projected business.
