Marlin Bar Bartender
About The Position
The Bartender brings the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home. The role requires complete knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, as well as knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. The Bartender verifies guests’ government-issued identification when alcohol is ordered, as required by state and federal law, and maintains appropriate stock levels of perishables and spirits through inventory control and ordering based on projected business. The position also helps create a clean, safe, professional, and upbeat environment. Shifts are scheduled according to business needs.
Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Stand routinely for the duration of the shift.
- Safely maneuver equipment and tools such as a hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, and wine keys.
- Work scheduled shifts determined by business needs.
