About The Position

Coach Across America (CAA) is a national nonprofit that engages, trains, and supports sports coaches to transform youth, programs, and communities. The CAA Marketing VISTA will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s marketing and communications infrastructure. The VISTA will be part of the 26-27 Coach Across America national VISTA cohort of 64 members. The CAA Marketing VISTA will strengthen the organization’s marketing and communications capacity by supporting the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing while contributing to meaningful community impact.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Creating a consistent and data-informed content pipeline that highlights program impact and incorporates current marketing trends.
  • Supporting marketing efforts tied to fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Researching and engaging potential ambassadors and content creators to expand digital reach and visibility.
  • Developing a social media strategy and growing social media platforms.
  • Creating engaging content (graphics, captions, short-form videos).
  • Creating a content calendar template aligned with organizational priorities and campaigns.
  • Researching marketing trends and best practices to inform strategy.
  • Supporting storytelling efforts by collecting and organizing impact content.
  • Maintaining a centralized content library that can be used for future use.
  • Promoting fundraising campaigns and events through email and social media content.
  • Tracking engagement and performance metrics.
  • Identifying and researching potential ambassadors and content creators.
