About The Position

LanceDB is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to build the systems that make marketing measurable and drive pipeline. The role owns the marketing technology stack, the data flowing through it, and reporting on marketing performance. It partners closely with the Head of RevOps, who owns the sales side of the CRM and revenue process; this role covers marketing activities leading to qualified opportunities, including lead capture and routing, scoring, attribution, campaign and event operations, and revenue impact reporting. A major focus is building an open-source qualified lead program that turns product and community signals into timely sales outreach. This is a 0-to-1 builder role on a small, fast-moving team: the manager will design, implement, and operate the function as the go-to-market motion evolves. The role serves as the directly responsible individual for marketing systems, including marketing automation, signal and enrichment tools, advertising platforms, web analytics, and event and webinar tooling. It builds and runs lead management and event lead flows; develops open-source lead scoring with Product, Engineering, and Marketing; contributes to attribution and pipeline reporting; maintains data quality and governance; operates campaigns; supports marketing’s reporting and planning rhythm; partners on ABM infrastructure; and identifies improvements using AI and automation.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or growth operations at B2B technology companies.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot, especially marketing automation, workflows, lifecycle, reporting, and data modeling; must have built these systems directly.
  • Experience with the modern GTM data stack, such as enrichment and workflow tools, signal platforms, sales engagement tools, advertising platforms, and web analytics.
  • Hands-on experience designing lead routing and account assignment, including event lead flow.
  • A track record of building attribution and pipeline reporting that leadership trusts and uses to make decisions.
  • Ability to own work end to end without a supporting team and to build processes, systems, and measurement where little exists.
  • Comfort with a GTM engineering approach and using current AI tools to build intelligent automations.
  • Ability to use AI thoughtfully to improve and streamline individual and team work.
  • Excellent communication and ability to partner with founders, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering in a small, high-ownership team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys working with high-caliber teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLG, open source, or product-usage signals feeding a sales-led motion.
  • Experience at an AI, database, data infrastructure, or developer tools company.
  • Scripting and API experience, such as Python, webhooks, or reverse ETL.

Responsibilities

  • Own marketing systems, including HubSpot marketing automation, signal and enrichment tools, advertising platforms, web analytics, and event and webinar tooling; audit, select, implement, or remove systems as needed.
  • Build and operate lead management processes covering capture, enrichment, account assignment, routing, lifecycle stages, and scoring.
  • Own event lead flow end to end, from registration and badge scans through enrichment, account assignment, and follow-up routed to the right owner within a clear SLA.
  • Build and run an open-source qualified lead program with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, using open-source activity and account behavior to trigger timely outreach.
  • Contribute to attribution and marketing reporting, including dashboards for sourced and influenced pipeline by channel, program, and account, and measurement of Marketing's influence on founder-led and frontier lab deals.
  • Maintain marketing data hygiene, field governance including Deal Source, deduplication, and enrichment in partnership with RevOps.
  • Run campaign operations, including forms, landing pages, email programs, list uploads, and registration flows for flagship events such as the Reverie summit.
  • Support Marketing's operating rhythm through weekly funnel reporting against goals, budget tracking, and data for quarterly planning.
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing on ABM infrastructure, including target account lists, segmentation, intent and engagement signals, and program measurement.
  • Find and deliver operational improvements using AI and automation, including enrichment, research workflows, and reporting.
