About The Position

Cockroach Labs is building a modern, AI-first marketing organization and is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to combine operational excellence with emerging AI technologies to scale their go-to-market engine. This role is for individuals who enjoy building systems, optimizing processes, and automating repetitive tasks. The position involves collaboration with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, RevOps, and GTM Engineering teams, and joining a Marketing Operations team that emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, experimentation, and continuous improvement. The role will utilize tools like Clay, Openprise, n8n, leading LLM platforms, Marketo, and Salesforce, with support from a GTM Engineering team. The company believes in an agentic, automated, and data-driven future for marketing operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of marketing operations experience in a B2B enterprise go-to-market environment
  • Deep expertise in Marketo and Salesforce across campaign operations, lead management, and system integrations
  • Experience building high-performing email and cross-channel nurture programs, with strong command of deliverability, metrics, and optimization
  • A track record of designing and scaling AI-enabled workflows that improve how work gets done across teams or functions
  • A demonstrated ability to identify and integrate AI tools that reduce friction and shorten the time from insight to action
  • Experience embedding AI into repeatable processes to increase speed, consistency, and output quality at a system level
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with proactive communication habits

Responsibilities

  • Operationalize and optimize global campaigns across Marketo and Salesforce, including segmentation, attribution, QA, and automation improvements.
  • Manage email operations org-wide, covering campaigns, nurtures, and lifecycle programs, with a focus on deliverability, personalization, and performance.
  • Support the execution of field programs, webinars, executive events, and roadshows.
  • Manage registration workflows, attendee tracking, post-event follow-up, and pipeline attribution.
  • Serve as the primary Marketo administrator, maintaining database health through enrichment, deduplication, lead scoring, and routing.
  • Oversee the operational health of key marketing technology integrations, including PLG tracking.
  • Build and optimize automation workflows using n8n, Openprise, Clay, and APIs to eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Translate emerging AI technologies into practical improvements across the marketing organization.
