About The Position

The Marketing Operations Assistant Manager oversees the execution and continuous improvement of core Marketing Operations processes that enable speed to market, retailer readiness, data accuracy, brand consistency, and cross-functional alignment. You will manage assigned projects and operational workflows, administers product and packaging information, oversees retailer data syndication activities, and drives timely completion of critical deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience in project coordination, marketing operations, product data management, packaging workflow, or related operational support roles
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading capabilities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems
  • Experience applying AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, analysis, or workflow execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the produce, fresh food, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries
  • Familiarity with GDSN, Syndigo, Specright, retailer portals, or similar product information management systems
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
  • Knowledge of packaging workflows, print production processes, and label approval procedures
  • Familiarity with food labeling requirements, packaging standards, and customer compliance expectations
  • Experience maintaining product catalogs, specifications, or customer-facing product data

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects, establish priorities, and oversee tasks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple Marketing Operations workstreams.
  • Monitor project performance, direct follow-up activities, communicate status and decisions, and drive accountability for established deadlines.
  • Maintain management visibility through accurate reporting, disciplined follow-up, and clear escalation of risks, resource needs, and unresolved decisions.
  • Assess risks, bottlenecks, and outstanding action items; determine appropriate next steps; and lead resolution with accountable stakeholders.
  • Administer product, packaging, specification, and digital asset information across internal systems, establishing controls that support accuracy, consistency, and readiness.
  • Oversee assigned data syndication activities through GDSN, retailer portals, and other customer-facing platforms, coordinating priorities and issue resolution.
  • Drive assigned data-quality improvement initiatives and manage issue resolution related to product information management.
  • Manage routing, review, proofing, and approval workflows for labels, cartons, and related marketing assets from request through final release.
  • Direct workflow coordination with suppliers, printers, agencies, and cross-functional teams to achieve packaging and artwork timelines.
  • Administer the product catalog, digital assets, imagery, and supporting marketing materials, including access, organization, accuracy, and lifecycle updates.
  • Serve as the operational lead for stakeholders requiring guidance on product information, specifications, retailer requirements, and assigned project workflows.
  • Represent Marketing Operations in cross-functional meetings and lead assigned activities supporting product launches, retailer readiness, and business process improvements.
