About The Position

BIS Safety Software is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a new, remote role that combines marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership to translate marketing strategy into measurable progress, guide a small marketing team through campaigns, content, and digital programs, and be hands-on in building campaigns, improving messaging, and working with marketing systems. The role operates in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of marketing initiatives across campaigns, content, website development, and digital programs, requiring comfort with momentum while maintaining judgment and quality.

Requirements

  • Experience both leading people and building marketing systems.
  • Approximately 5-7 years of marketing experience, with some experience coordinating or managing a small team.
  • Comfort operating at both the strategic and execution level, with a primary focus on execution ('doer').
  • Experience owning marketing campaigns or initiatives from start to finish with tangible outcomes.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge including SEO, paid media, and website optimization.
  • Demonstrated strong judgment when evaluating messaging, copy, and campaign quality.
  • Comfort using marketing data and performance signals to guide decisions.
  • Experience using AI solutions to improve the speed and quality of work.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and viewing marketing as a system.
  • Critical thinking about messaging and positioning, focusing on moving the buyer forward.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments with a high volume of simultaneous marketing initiatives.
  • Humble, eager to learn, and willing to ask questions and seek clarity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Operational marketing experience in a structured environment.
  • Experience with SEO strategy, content marketing, and digital campaign management.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CMS tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • A working understanding of how to measure and improve marketing-qualified lead generation.
  • Experience building or improving marketing production processes and workflows.
  • Exposure to safety, training, compliance, or other regulated industry verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the marketing team, including managing, mentoring, running 1-to-1s, providing direction and feedback, and maintaining alignment with company priorities.
  • Oversee marketing execution, including producing marketing materials such as website content, landing pages, campaigns, and promotional assets, and reviewing/refining marketing copy.
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, landing page development, SEO, AEO, Google Ads, digital advertising programs, marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and conversion optimization.
  • Coordinate marketing systems and priorities, ensuring initiatives are organized and intentional, prioritizing projects based on impact, refining messaging and marketing direction with leadership, and coordinating work with internal teams and external partners.
