About The Position
The Marketing Intern assists the Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinators at Griffin Media and News On 6 in the Tulsa office. The internship is unpaid and is offered for college credit during the Spring semester. The schedule is flexible, but the intern must meet their school’s hour requirement for credit.
Requirements
- GPA of 2.75 or above.
- Must have completed 60 credit hours toward a degree.
- Must upload a copy of an official transcript with the application.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Demonstrate humility, including putting the team first and giving and receiving constructive criticism.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, drive, and willingness to take initiative.
- Demonstrate interpersonal awareness in interactions and relationships.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on opportunities.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding and acting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies, including additional social media planning and reporting.
- Organize corporate communications.
- Assist with public communications.
- Organize events.
- Write web content.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
