About The Position
The Marketing Intern assists the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinators at Griffin Media and News 9 in the OKC office. The role supports the Ideal Team Player culture and includes social media work, corporate communications, public communications, event organization, and web content writing. This is an unpaid internship for college credit during the Spring semester. The schedule is flexible, but the intern must meet their school’s hour requirement for credits.
Requirements
- GPA of 2.75 or above.
- Must have completed 60 credit hours toward a degree.
- Must upload a copy of an official transcript with the application.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must meet the school’s hour requirement for internship credit.
- Demonstrate humility, including putting the team first and giving and receiving constructive criticism.
- Demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
- Demonstrate interpersonal awareness in interactions and relationships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies.
