About The Position
The Marketing Intern will assist the Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinators at Griffin Media and News On 6 in the Tulsa office. The internship is unpaid and offered for college credit during the spring semester. The schedule is flexible, but the intern must meet their school’s required hours for credit.
Requirements
- Have a GPA of 2.75 or above.
- Have completed 60 credit hours toward a degree.
- Upload a copy of an official transcript with the application.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Demonstrate humility, a team-first attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, drive, and willingness to take initiative.
- Demonstrate interpersonal awareness in interactions and relationships.
- Maintain a positive attitude by focusing on opportunities rather than problems.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies, including additional social media planning and reporting.
- Organize corporate communications.
- Assist with public communications.
- Organize events.
- Write web content.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
