About The Position

Novellia is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who understands scientific communications or life sciences marketing and is passionate about improving how the industry communicates complex topics like real-world evidence, patient data, and clinical research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and possess the operational energy to support a creative team. This role involves executing marketing strategies across various channels, including events, social media, and sales collateral, and offers opportunities for growth in areas like budget management and campaign ownership.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in scientific communications, journalism, marketing, or communications within life sciences, healthcare, or health data (agency or in-house experience accepted).
  • Strong project management skills; deeply organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Scientific fluency; comfortable with clinical research, real-world evidence, or health data concepts. Ability to understand scientific vocabulary and earn trust when working with scientists or clinicians.
  • Creative curiosity; opinions on effective content, ability to notice impactful communication, and skill in writing clear sentences and sharp headlines.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and compressed timelines without drama.
  • Low ego, high output mentality; takes work seriously but not oneself too seriously.
  • Comfortable with or willing to quickly learn tools like Notion, Slack, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of marketing tasks from brief to completion, including coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, managing review cycles, and chasing approvals.
  • Support content production across channels such as events (logistics, run-of-show, vendor coordination), social media (scheduling, community monitoring, asset coordination), and sales enablement (one-pagers, decks, collateral updates).
  • Translate scientific information into plain language for broader understanding.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar, run status checks, and identify potential blockers.
  • Grow into responsibilities such as budget management, vendor relationships, creative execution, and campaign ownership.
