About The Position

Roadrunner is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to be the creative force and operational backbone of the marketing team. This role involves designing, filming, writing, organizing, and shipping marketing materials to bring campaigns to life. The coordinator will ensure initiatives are on-brand, on deadline, and running smoothly in a lean, PE-backed environment that rewards ownership and speed. This position is distinct from typical marketing coordinator roles as it focuses on building the brand's public presence, including its website, social media, video content, and marketing materials, rather than just maintenance. The role offers direct work with the Marketing Manager and visibility into market-reaching efforts, with opportunities for high performers to gain more scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marketing or related creative role, with a portfolio demonstrating practical work.
  • Significant creative skill in Canva.
  • Comfort in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Confidence both in front of and behind the camera for video and photography.
  • CMS experience and proven website management skills.
  • Event marketing experience, especially direct customer engagement and activation.
  • Experience creating content for social platforms and managing work across multiple channels simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented process and project-management skills.
  • Strong writing and visual storytelling abilities, capable of making industrial and technology stories sharp and human.
  • Comfort using AI tools to create, iterate, and scale content without losing quality or brand voice.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where wearing multiple hats and inventing process is necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot or similar marketing automation experience.
  • Google Analytics experience.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, industrial, or other complex B2B categories.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for digital and print campaigns.
  • Invent and ship high-impact visual content such as graphics, sales collateral, social assets, landing-page visuals, event materials, and campaign creative.
  • Create video and photo content, appear on camera when needed, and direct shoots.
  • Support Roadrunner’s LinkedIn and social presence with sharp, human, and on-brand content.
  • Shape the brand's presence across digital, physical, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, sales, talent acquisition, and the marketing team to execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • Support integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, content, events, and emerging channels.
  • Track campaign performance, document learnings, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Produce materials and communications for strategic customer accounts.
  • Manage and update the website CMS to ensure content is accurate, optimized, and user-friendly.
  • Support social media content creation and campaign execution, including planning, producing, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain landing pages and digital experiences.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate production without sacrificing quality, voice, or point of view.
  • Own the marketing calendar and project-management systems, ensuring deadlines are visible and work progresses.
  • Maintain reusable content resources, brand guidelines, and AI prompt frameworks.
  • Apply AI and automation to recurring production and administrative work.
  • Track marketing expenses and assist with budget reconciliation.
  • Identify and resolve friction points in marketing workflows using process, templates, and tools.
  • Produce recruitment marketing creative to attract high-quality CDL drivers, owner operators, and key employees.
  • Create targeted assets and content for owner-operator acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Partner with talent acquisition and operations to support employee recruiting.
  • Capture and produce culture content (photos, video, recognition assets, newsletter visuals).
  • Support internal communications with polished, on-brand assets.
