About The Position

Roadrunner is the most tech-forward company in LTL, with a proprietary Smart Network™ designed for efficiency and accountability. The marketing team needs to translate this advantage into a strong brand presence across all platforms. This role, reporting to the Marketing Manager, will be the creative force and operational backbone, responsible for designing, filming, writing, organizing, and executing campaigns. The goal is to bring campaigns to life through compelling visual content, tight planning, and cross-platform execution, ensuring initiatives are on-brand, on deadline, and running smoothly in a fast-paced, lean environment that rewards ownership and speed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marketing or related creative role, with a portfolio showcasing practical work.
  • Significant creative skill in Canva and comfort in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Confidence both in front of and behind the camera for video and photography.
  • CMS experience and proven website management skills.
  • Event marketing experience, especially direct customer engagement and activation.
  • Experience creating content for social platforms and managing work across multiple channels simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong process and project-management skills, including managing calendars, files, vendors, and deadlines.
  • Strong writing and visual storytelling abilities, capable of making industrial and technology stories sharp and human.
  • Comfort using AI tools to create, iterate, and scale content while maintaining quality and brand voice.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving environment requiring adaptability and process invention.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • HubSpot or similar marketing automation experience.

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, industrial, or other complex B2B categories.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for digital and print campaigns.
  • Invent and ship high-impact visual content including graphics, sales collateral, social assets, landing-page visuals, event materials, and campaign creative.
  • Create video and photo content, appearing on camera when needed and directing shoots to capture authentic customer stories, owner-operator voices, and company culture.
  • Support Roadrunner’s LinkedIn and social presence with sharp, human, and on-brand content.
  • Shape the brand's appearance across digital, physical, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, sales, talent acquisition, and the marketing team to execute multi-channel campaigns on time.
  • Support integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, content, events, and emerging channels.
  • Track campaign performance, document learnings, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Produce materials and communications for strategic customer accounts.
  • Manage and update the website CMS to ensure content is accurate, optimized, and user-friendly.
  • Support social media content creation and campaign execution, including planning, producing, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Help build and maintain landing pages and digital experiences.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate production without sacrificing quality, voice, or point of view.
  • Own the marketing calendar and project-management systems, ensuring deadlines are visible and work progresses.
  • Maintain reusable content resources, brand guidelines, and AI prompt frameworks.
  • Apply AI and automation to recurring production and administrative work.
  • Track marketing expenses and assist with budget reconciliation.
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies within the marketing workflow.
  • Produce recruitment marketing creative to attract high-quality CDL drivers, owner operators, and key employees.
  • Create targeted assets and content for owner-operator acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Partner with talent acquisition and operations to support employee recruiting with clear, compelling materials.
  • Capture and produce culture content (photos, video, recognition assets, newsletter visuals).
  • Support internal communications with polished, on-brand assets.
