About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator assists the Marketing Manager in providing marketing support across the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center complex. The role supports ticket sales, audience growth, and promotion of live events through content creation, creative materials, data tracking, and on-site event marketing. The position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, and based on site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Requirements

• Previous experience or an internship in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a similar role is required.
• Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and interact with staff at all levels, including management.
• Professional presentation and appearance, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, potentially including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to move around the complex, stand for long periods during events, and talk and hear.
• Ability to use a computer for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a similar field.
• Industry-related experience, including radio/television, advertising, or print publications.
• Experience with project management systems such as Asana.
• Proficiency in InDesign and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with content creation and management for the venue website and social media accounts.
• Resize artwork and create graphics for venue events as directed.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to develop and produce promotional and collateral materials for sales and marketing programs.
• Track data related to marketing efforts for events.
• Assist with day-of-event marketing needs, including signage, patron inquiries, and backstage activations.
• Assist with on-site event media as needed.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and appropriate attire.
• Work within guidelines established by Legends Global and Denny Sanford PREMIER Center management.
