The Marketing Associate supports wholesale insurance marketing operations for Specialty Program Group – Wholesale, a subsidiary of Specialty Program Group LLC. The role handles renewal activity, quote processing, binding documentation, reporting, appointments, and general office operations. It works closely with agents, marketing representatives, account executives, customer service representatives, and support staff, and provides cross-functional and onboarding support as needed. For renewals, the associate initiates preliminary work 90 days ahead for accounts under $100,000 in premium and 120 days ahead for accounts exceeding $100,000. The role solicits submissions, issues renewal letters and supplemental applications, checks submissions for completeness, selects appropriate markets, organizes responses, records activity in ImageRight, and helps obtain market access when an account is marked Prior/Blocked. The associate manages accounts with premiums under $10,000 per line from solicitation through binding, while escalating larger lines and non-renewal accounts to the marketing representative. The associate processes all new and renewal quotes for the office, coordinates assistance with Kinsale quotes during high-volume periods, requests status updates on quotes being worked by others, and provides risk analysis and other support as needed. For binding, the associate converts approved quotes in AIM to Bind Requests, uploads related documentation to ImageRight, and verifies the relevant account team assignments in AIM. Administrative and operational work includes maintaining spreadsheets, monthly lost-account and expiring-account reports, and underwriter contact lists; overseeing agency and carrier appointments; coordinating the addition of missing markets and risks in AIM; responding to report requests; supporting office needs and distressed accounts; addressing IT issues within the role’s capability; assisting with new-hire onboarding and training; and maintaining the shared calendar for approved PTO and specified team dates. The expected salary range is $60,000–$75,000. HUB International states that it offers comprehensive benefits and total compensation that may vary by employment status, role, location, and eligibility.
