About The Position

The Marketing Associate is an integral member of Deploy’s Marketing team, supporting executives and marketing staff as they implement campaigns and analyze their impact. The role handles interdepartmental communications, prepares data reports, and creates surveys, questionnaires, and other tools to measure marketing effectiveness. The associate collaborates with teams across the company to understand Deploy and its products and communicate them effectively to broad audiences. The ideal candidate conducts market research independently and turns findings into clear, visually engaging reports, presentations, and marketing materials. They manage multiple projects with close attention to detail and contribute to the company’s brand awareness and growth. Deploy describes itself as an ambitious AI company with over 250 employees globally and offices in San Francisco, Seattle, and Delhi. The position’s expected base salary is $50,000–$70,000; stock options may also be offered.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
0–2 years of work experience in marketing or a related field; tech industry experience is preferred.
Ability to work long workweeks when needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Some hands-on software engineering experience or a deep interest in machine learning.
Demonstrated success in a competitive environment.
Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently execute work.
Driven to excel without requiring external pressure.

Responsibilities

Gather data on campaign success, often by collecting audience feedback.
Create detailed, visually appealing graphs for post-launch analysis and new campaigns, and present them to business decision-makers.
Assist with all phases of marketing campaign setup, facilitation, and completion.
Maintain ownership and responsibility for individual projects.
Work regularly with other company teams.
Oversee the design and graphics of marketing materials.
Conduct market research to understand the organization’s marketing needs and target audience.
Partner with the Business Development team to generate strategies and initiatives to build and expand Deploy’s brand.
Increase awareness of Deploy and its products and services in the targeted business community.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling relevant to the role.
Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security or policy violations and breaches to an appropriate authority.
