About The Position

We’re looking for a Marketing and Events Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting the marketing team by focusing on swag management and event coordination. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, and communications
  • A bachelor’s or college degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with digital content editing and marketing, including social media.
  • Experience with event planning and management, including tradeshows and conferences.
  • Experience supporting a variety of business lines.
  • Proven artistic and creative skills to ensure marketing materials stand out and convey the right message.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and enjoys a collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines and drive results.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a consensus-driven, team-oriented culture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook); experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other similar CRM systems
  • Experience supporting content updates across SharePoint (or similar intranet platforms) and WordPress (or similar CMS), with the ability to upload, organize, and maintain internal resources and website content
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English required, fluency in French preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous insurance experience is a definite asset.
  • Graphic design knowledge/experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of company events, including trade shows, conferences, and internal gatherings.
  • Manage swag inventory—source, order, and distribute branded merchandise for events and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of promotional items.
  • Coordinate logistics, set-up, and breakdown for events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align swag and event strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Track and report on swag usage and event outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with management of social media - updating various sites, while tracking results as applicable.
  • Development and coordination of marketing communications.
  • Supporting Distribution Manager with distribution needs (design and creation of materials, promotional items, etc.).
  • Maintain the company website, which includes keeping the information on the site up-to-date, reviewing and updating layout, and working with the IT department to build solutions while maintaining security protocols.
  • Coordinate the translation of various marketing/distribution documents to French.
  • Other administrative and operational tasks as needed.
