About The Position

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is a leader in the games industry, creating beloved characters and franchises across all platforms. We are seeking a UA Marketing Analyst to connect marketing spend with revenue, generate actionable insights, and drive recommendations for creative production, budget allocation, and scaling strategies. This role is crucial for understanding what's working in our user acquisition efforts and optimizing our creative output and spend efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in marketing, growth, or product analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to model data beyond simple querying.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Cursor) for analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau), including building and maintaining explores.
  • Working knowledge of mobile attribution, including MMP data (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular), SKAdNetwork and AdAttributionKit, network reporting discrepancies, and their limitations.
  • Fluency in UA metrics such as CPI, IPM, CTR, ROAS.
  • Ability to define, defend, and maintain metric definitions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing creative performance, including creative tagging and metadata frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GenAI creative production workflows.
  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly with free-to-play or 4X strategy titles.

Responsibilities

  • Run the weekly performance readout, analyzing what is working, why, and its implications for creative production priorities.
  • Provide creative performance insights, including analysis by concept, hook, format, network, and geo, as well as winner rates and fatigue curves.
  • Calculate Creative ROI, attributing spend and return to individual creatives and concepts.
  • Analyze production efficiency, measuring cost and cycle time per asset against the performance delivered.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for creative production, spend allocation, and scaling.
  • Develop and maintain self-serve visualizations and reporting infrastructure, integrating answers into the team's workflow.
  • Determine appropriate data presentation formats for dashboards, explorations, and recurring readouts.
  • Collaborate with central data and engineering teams on data pipeline and warehouse dependencies.
  • Contribute to defining governed metrics for creative performance tiers, including thresholds, minimum spend/impression floors, and lookback windows.
  • Build and monitor data quality checks to identify and surface discrepancies proactively.
