About The Position

Taziki's Mediterranean Café is hiring a full-time, salaried Market Leader to lead its Denver market. The role owns operational performance, business development, local marketing, community relationships, and long-term growth across multiple restaurants. The Market Leader partners with restaurant leaders and corporate support teams and serves as a local ambassador for the brand. The position combines multi-unit restaurant leadership with market-building responsibilities. The Market Leader develops General Managers and management teams, drives financial and operational results, executes local growth initiatives, builds community partnerships, strengthens catering and local outreach, and supports future market development, including new restaurant openings as opportunities arise. Success includes strong restaurant results, measurable growth from local initiatives, a positive community presence, capable leaders, and a foundation for continued growth.

Requirements

3–5+ years of restaurant General Manager experience, with demonstrated success leading restaurant operations.
Strong knowledge of restaurant financial performance, including P&L management, labor, food costs, and profitability.
Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable.
Experience driving sales growth and executing local marketing or business development initiatives.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into results.
Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound business decisions.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Denver market.
Flexibility to support operations during occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain.

Nice To Haves

Previous multi-unit restaurant leadership experience as an Area Leader, District Manager, Market Leader, or in a similar role.
Demonstrated success growing restaurant sales, catering revenue, or local market share.
Experience building community partnerships and leading grassroots marketing initiatives.
Experience supporting new restaurant openings, operational improvements, or market development.
Strong track record of developing General Managers and promoting talent internally.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support General Managers across multiple Denver-area restaurants.
Recruit, mentor, and develop management teams; identify future leaders and establish succession plans.
Partner with HR and Field Training on employee engagement, retention, and Manager-in-Training development.
Foster accountability, collaboration, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
Own market performance, including sales, profitability, labor, food costs, and operational standards.
Analyze P&Ls, financial reports, labor trends, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct restaurant visits and operational evaluations, then establish and follow up on action plans.
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, guest experience, and consistent delivery of the brand promise.
Develop and execute local market growth, marketing, and business development strategies to increase sales, guest traffic, catering revenue, and brand awareness.
Partner with corporate Marketing on local store marketing initiatives.
Identify partnerships, promotions, community activations, and other revenue-generating opportunities.
Build relationships with local businesses, schools, organizations, community leaders, and neighborhoods.
Collaborate with Community Sales Ambassadors and restaurant leaders to strengthen catering sales and local outreach.
Monitor local trends, competition, and guest preferences, and set measurable goals for marketing and business development execution.
Represent Taziki's locally and encourage restaurant teams to participate in community events, school partnerships, local initiatives, and charitable activities.
Strengthen guest loyalty and help position Taziki's as a trusted part of the Denver community.
Identify operational and business opportunities that support long-term market development and scalable growth.
Support new restaurant openings, operational readiness, and Certified Training Store development as opportunities arise.
Collaborate with corporate leadership to align market priorities with broader company objectives and bring forward ideas and strategies for market improvement.
