About The Position

Requirements

  • Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course.
  • Graduate of, or Major in, Economics with a minimum major average of 75%.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain subject material to students.
  • Punctual in attending classes and regular in-person meetings on campus during normal working hours.
  • Able to meet appropriate deadlines.
  • Must be prepared to work on campus as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
  • Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
  • Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
  • Potentially enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor.
