About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Marker-Grader in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the CHYS 3P55 Winter D3 - Developmental Neuropsychology course. The marker-grader is responsible for marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. They must provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, considering substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization. The marker-grader may also be asked to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases, as requested by the course instructor. Compensation is based on qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 3rd Year complete in the CHYS BA or CHYS BA/BEd program, or be entering and/or continuing in the CHYS MA or CHYS PhD program.
• Must have previously completed CHYS 3V55 (3P55) or equivalent, and obtained 80% or higher.
• Must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Provide, if available, an evaluation of successful previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Marker-Grader.
• For courses taken elsewhere, provide a copy of your transcript, highlight the course and provide the course description.

Nice To Haves

• Previous successful experience as a Marker-Grader or Teaching Assistant for CHYS 3V55 (3P55) will be considered as equivalent.

Responsibilities
