About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the ECON 2P15 Winter D3 course. This position is paid according to the employee's qualifications, with rates ranging from $19.00/hour for first-year undergraduate completion to $36.00/hour for a Master's Degree. The role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, and final exams, and providing written feedback to students. The marker-grader may also be asked to invigilate exams or enter grades into databases. Requirements
- Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course.
- Graduate of, or Major in, Economics with a minimum major average of 75%.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain subject material to students.
- Punctual in attending classes and regular in-person meetings on campus during normal working hours.
- Able to meet appropriate deadlines.

- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
- Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
