About The Position
Brock University is seeking Marker-Grader EDUC 2P95 Fall D2. This position is paid according to qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026. The marker-grader is responsible for marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. They must provide written feedback to students, clearly identifying the basis of the grade. The marker-grader may also be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor. This role is governed by the Collective Agreement for part-time Instructor, Teaching Assistant, Lab Demonstrator, Course Coordinator and Marker-Grader positions at Brock University.
Requirements
- Honours BA or Honours BSC
- BEd (P/J, J/I, or I/S)
- Previous successful teaching experience at the primary, elementary, secondary or postsecondary level
- Experience working in traditional or alternative elementary or secondary classroom settings
- Successfully completed EDUC 2P95
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
- Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
