About The Position

This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for supervising operation personnel by ensuring that production expectations are met while verifying conformance with safety, AIB, and quality standards. The plant currently operates on four 12-hour shifts, and this role is for the night shift (Sunday-Wednesday/Thursday, 7 PM - 7 AM).

Requirements

Ability to handle a high-stress environment.
Ability to spend 95% of time on the production floor assisting employees.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled production area with extreme temperatures.
Ability to lift 50-80 lbs.
Ability to push/pull 100 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Supervise operation personnel to meet production expectations.
Ensure conformance with safety, AIB, and quality standards.
Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, ADOSH, and AIB regulations.
Plan, organize, and implement improvement processes to achieve goals.
Assure direct reports work safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Play an active role in personnel training and upward progression.
Perform daily quality inspection of finished products.
Monitor and assess employee performance and provide guidance.
Complete and submit shift reports daily.
Troubleshoot, recommend, investigate, and provide solutions.
Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule equipment maintenance.
Review production schedules, work orders, and other records to determine production requirements and workload.
Develop, support, and motivate production employees.
Utilize personnel and resources for the best productive outcome.
Maintain positive, respectful, and open communication with team members.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in all plant areas.
