About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring the premises and patrolling designated locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives. The role also involves providing customer service and information to client employees and visitors. The schedule includes weekend hours. Security positions are available full-time and part-time; the specific employment type for this opening is not stated. No prior experience is necessary, and training is provided.

Requirements

Driver certification is required.
Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must be able to complete patrols.
Must have strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, and may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is a good fit; no experience is necessary.
