About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling designated locations. Officers observe and report activities and incidents, protect client property and personnel, preserve order, and enforce site regulations and directives. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees, visitors, and customers. The role is scheduled for third shift and includes weekend hours. Securitas provides training for candidates without prior security experience. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including cell phone and computer use.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, potentially including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
