About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. Officers observe and report activities and incidents, protect client property and personnel, preserve order, and enforce site regulations and directives. The role also frequently involves providing customer service and information to employees and customers. Training is provided for candidates new to the security industry. The position pays $17.25 per hour, offers weekly pay, and has multiple openings. Security positions are available full-time and part-time.

Requirements

Driver certification is required.
Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must be able to complete patrols.
Must have strong technology skills, including cell phone and computer use.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking; potentially for long periods, climbing stairs, and walking on inclines and uneven terrain; frequent lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.

Responsibilities
