About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring the premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The schedule includes third-shift work and weekend hours. The listed wage is $17.00–$18.90 per hour.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
Be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a good fit.
