Manufacturing Facility Security Officer
About The Position
Securitas USA is hiring Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment at a manufacturing facility. The role involves actively monitoring the premises and patrolling assigned locations, observing and reporting activities and incidents, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives relating to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The role requires a valid Ohio driver's license and driver certification, customer service skills, the ability to complete patrols, strong technology skills, and the ability to meet applicable security licensing requirements. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check. The posting describes both full- and part-time security positions. The advertised wage is $15.91 per hour. A hiring bonus pays $100 after training completion and $400 after six months, provided the employee remains active and in good standing at each payout point. Requirements
- Driver certification is required.
- Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must be able to complete patrols.
- Must have strong technology skills, including cell phone and computer use.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking; potentially climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain; frequent lifting or moving up to 10 pounds; and occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
- Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is described as a good fit.
