About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at an assigned client site by monitoring the premises, conducting patrols, observing and reporting activities and incidents, and providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Officers preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. The schedule includes weekend hours. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided for candidates entering the security industry.

Requirements

Driver certification is required.
Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must be able to complete patrols.
Must have strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for long periods; the role may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
May frequently need to lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
