About The Position
San Diego Fertility Center is a world-class reproductive center with over 70 years of collective experience in diagnosing and treating infertility. As a leading fertility provider in San Diego, they host patients from around the globe for IVF and other fertility treatments. They are seeking a full-time, Mandarin Speaking Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their team. The NP/PA will be expected to possess strong interpersonal, technology, and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with patients, referring physicians, and the community. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and thrive in a team-based care environment.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered NP or PA license in California.
- Experience in IVF (fertility) required, or women’s health, or OBGYN.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency with EMRs and computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Mandarin Speaking required.
Responsibilities
- Provide initial patient consultations, directing infertility evaluations and implementing treatment protocols.
- Obtain detailed medical history, review medical records, and perform appropriate physical examinations.
- Perform infertility-related services including ultrasonography, routine gynecological exams and procedures, endometrial biopsy, and interpretation of laboratory values.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
- Prepare and counsel patients, providing informed consent for ART services.
- Provide limited supervisory role for clinical staff, overseeing personnel scheduling and organizational systems/efforts.
- Act as a liaison for clinical staff and supervising physician to ensure quality medical care and address areas for improvement.
- Provide patient counseling and education on pertinent health issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
