About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a full-time, clinic-based role of 30–40 hours per week. The position requires floating to clinics up to 50 miles from home. Providers deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary and family care, primarily in person. Virtual care visits may be conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and doing so does not delay or interfere with in-person care. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions; providing diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, injury and illness treatment, and care coordination; and supporting wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. Providers also complete clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. Charting and follow-up are completed during scheduled shifts, with no work taken home. NPs must hold an active, unrestricted FNP license and a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, along with current national board certification. PAs must meet the stated PA education requirements and hold current NCCPA certification and an active, unrestricted state PA license or be eligible to obtain one upon hire. Both provider types must hold active BLS certification, complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment, pass a respirator fit test, and be able to obtain and maintain multistate licensure based on business needs. Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required.
