About The Position

Torchy’s is seeking a Managing Partner (Restaurant GM) to lead a restaurant’s successful and profitable operations. The role is suited to someone who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, partner in a growing company, and invest in their future and community. The Managing Partner builds, trains, and develops a strong team and oversees restaurant operations, finances, food safety, cleanliness, and vendor and headquarters relationships.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above.
Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
Hands-on experience in all facets of front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Nice To Haves

Full casual dining experience.
Previous exposure to a scratch kitchen.
Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Team Members.
Manage the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant.
Direct the Management Team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility.
Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets.
Manage weekly and monthly profit and loss (P&L).
Verify that training standards are maintained.
Oversee restaurant cleanliness.
Develop Team Members and Managers, including training them in employment policies and practices.
Understand, manage, and practice safe food-handling procedures.
Act as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.
Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings.
