About The Position

Torchy’s Tacos is seeking a Managing Partner (Restaurant GM) who wants to make a difference in people’s lives and become a business partner in a growth-oriented company. The role focuses on building and developing a strong team and managing the successful, profitable operation of a restaurant. The Managing Partner oversees restaurant management, budgets, inventories, training, cleanliness, and safe food handling, and serves as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above.
• Required state alcohol-server certification and Manager ServSafe Certification.
• Hands-on experience in all facets of front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

• Previous exposure to a scratch kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Network, source, interview, and hire Managers and Team Members.
• Manage the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant.
• Direct the Management Team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets.
• Manage weekly and monthly P&L.
• Verify that training standards are maintained.
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness.
• Develop Team Members and Managers, including training them in employment policies and practices.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with store vendors and headquarters contacts.
• Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings.
